Both the US and Saudi Arabia have said that Iran is responsible for the attacks on vital Saudi oil installations over the weekend that knocked 5% off of global oil supplies.

In the aftermath of the attack, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that “Iran will never hold talks with America”, which is a continuation of his ongoing speeches about continuing ‘prudent resistance’ policy, which would include developing Iran’s missile program, maintaining the regime’s support of terrorism abroad, and blocking the protests inside the country. The Chief of Tehran’s Police has said that his forces will arrest any female football fans who go to watch the derby match between Persepolis and Esteghlal at Azadi Stadium on Sunday, September 22.

Hossein Rahimi said: “No woman or girl is allowed to enter Azadi Stadium to watch the derby held in the capital, and if they are seen, they will be arrested. Tickets are sold online, therefore, women and girls are not allowed to gather outside Azadi Stadium.”

Pedram Pazireh, an Iranian student activist, has been sentenced to seven years of imprisonment and 74 lashes by the Tehran Court of Appeal, local sources reported on 18 September 2019.

He was also sentenced to two years of a travel ban and forbidden from membership in groups and parties. His appeal was denied by the Iranian regime's court in order to put more psychological pressure on the prisoner.

Pedram Pazireh is the vice president of the Student Union of Tehran University. He was arrested during the nationwide uprising in December 2017.

Iran Will Not Hold One-To-One Talks With US
