Iran and North Korea Nuclear Cooperation

Some experts believe that Iran is progressing towards a nuclear weapon with the help of North Korea. 

Despite the Iran nuclear deal signed in 2015, which was supposed to put a pause on the country’s nuclear development, it has been pointed out that the restrictions concerning delivery systems such as nuclear-capable ballistic missiles have not been clearly defined. Nor has Iran’s transfer of nuclear technology to other countries.

U.S. Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., was first elected to Congress in 1989. She is the first woman to chair the House Foreign Affairs Committee. She is also the chairwoman of the House Middle East and North Africa Subcommittee, who held a hearing on “Testing the Limits: Iran’s Ballistic Missile Program, Sanctions, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps” on Wednesday.

IAEA report confirms Iran has exceeded nuclear deal limit for the second time

According to an article published by Reuters, Iran has exceeded a soft limit on sensitive material. The limit was set during the nuclear deal with major powers.

This news was provided by the U.N. atomic watchdog said on Wednesday just hours after Donald Trump, a strong criticiser of the nuclear deal, won the U.S. presidential election.

Sahar Nowrouzzadeh was the Iran director for the National Security Council (NSC) during Obama’s administration. She is now working at the State Department where she is in charge of Iran and the Persian Gulf region for policy planning. Nowrouzzadeh once worked for a supposed Iranian regime lobbying group and was once employed by the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC) – the non-profit organisation that lobbies for the Iranian regime.
