To coincide with the International Teachers Day, the current and retired staff from the faculty of the Ministry of Education in Tehran staged a demonstration. On the morning of 5th October, they protested their low wages and lack of benefits as well as the terrible living conditions they are subject to.

Anti-regime rally held in Mashhad on Thursday

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has reported that over a thousand victims of scams ran by state-affiliated companies in Iran have protested in Mashhad, the second largest city in Iran. According to eye-witness accounts, they were protesting to demand their rights. They demanded that the money stolen from them is returned.
