Hezbollah, sometimes called the Party of God, is an Iranian movement that was originally formed to assist the Ayatollah Khomeini and his forces in consolidating power after the revolution. It was created with help from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), receiving military assistance, training, and financial support from the Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria. The alliance between Iran, Hezbollah, and the Assad regime in Syria refers to itself as the “Axis of Resistance.”

Human rights organisation Amnesty International has urged Iranian authorities to halt the execution of a man who was convicted of his come as a minor.
At the age of 17, Mehdi Bohlouli was arrested for murder after stabbing a man to death during a fight. The Tehran criminal court sentenced him to death in 2001.
Amnesty International say that the execution is scheduled to take place on Wednesday and if it goes ahead, it will be the second time in a week that a person who was younger than 18 years old at the time of committing a crime has been executed in Iran.
The power struggle at the top of leadership in the Iranian regime has President Rohani raising the stakes in his fight for power against the IRGC, by offering the Defense Ministry to the regular military.
Rohani’s candidate for the De¬fense and Armed Forces Logistics Ministry was a surprising pick. Should Brigadier-General Amir Hatami gain the parliament’s vote, he will be the first regular military officer to serve in a cabinet position. Since 1993, this position has been held by officers of the Is¬lamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).
Jordan, on Sunday, 14 August 2017, only a few days after the Iranian regime's regional militants controlled a region near the Jordanian border, said it would not tolerate the presence of Shiite militias on its borders.
According to the Italian ANSA news agency, spokesman of Jordan’s government Mohammed al-Momeni said at a press conference that the presence of militants on the Jordanian border is “unacceptable and rejected.”

It has been reported by state-run media in Iran that a firm named “Ghadir Investment Company” has manged to sign an investment agreement with “Zarubezhneft” in Russia and “Unit International” in Turkey.
The news agency, Shana, which is affiliated with the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Oil, said an agreement between the three countries was signed on Monday 4th August. The agreement means that joint projects in the oil and gas sector, both inside and outside of Iran, will be initiated.
