Struan Stevenson: Will the nuclear deal collapse?

Struan Stevenson, Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2014, President of the Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with Iraq from 2009 to 2014, Chair of Friends of a Free Iran Intergroup from 2005 to 2014 and current President of the European Iraqi Freedom Association (EIFA), wrote an article for The Diplomat in which he raises his concerns about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), or the Iran nuclear deal.

Struan Stevenson: One year on from the nuclear deal, “the world is not a safer place”

Struan Stevenson, president of the European Iraqi Freedom Association and member of European Parliament from 1999 to 2014, wrote an article marking the first anniversary of nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5 + 1 nations. 

Stevenson said that the P5 + 1 nations “missed a unique opportunity to topple the regime of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and restore peace and stability to the region”.

Giulio Terzi: West still making the same mistakes with Iran

Giulio Terzi, former Foreign Minister of Italy, wrote an article for The Hill in which he expresses his belief that the West has not learnt from past mistakes in their dealings with Iran.

He said that on the first anniversary of the nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 group of nations, the proponents will “face some harsh realities about the nature of the regime”.
