John Bolton: Iran Regime Must Not See 40th Birthday

The former US ambassador to the UN gave a stirring speech to the Free Iran Gathering in Paris this weekend, in which he stated that the Iranian Regime “must not reach its 40th birthday”.

John Bolton, who is also the Chairman of Gatestone Institute, was talking about the change in US policy with regard to the Iranian Regime and advised Donald Trump to take a firm stance.

Courageous Messages From Political Prisoners in Support of Resistance of Iran's Great Gathering in Paris

To announce solidarity with Resistance of Iran’s grand gathering on 1 July 2017 in Paris, resistant political prisoners under Mullahs dictatorship have issued statements, calling on Iranians to more than ever participate in the event.

In their messages, the political prisoners have referred to Paris gathering as the reflection of freedom-seeking of all captive Iranians, voice of the deprived and Kordestan’s toiling porters, voice of Sunnis and Balochs, symbol of Iran and Iranians’ glory, symbol of resistance and organized alternative, and the message from the raised flag ‘resistance at any price to reach freedom’.

Brave Activists Defy Iranian Regime

On Saturday 1st July, the Iranian opposition, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), will be hosting its annual “Free Iran” rally in Paris. Many people in Iran have risked imprisonment, arrest, torture and even execution to share the news about the event. Many people have passed leaflets around and put posters up in cities across the country.

The activities have been compiled in a video clip. People are calling for regime change and holding posters saying that they want Supreme Leader Khamenei to be replaced by Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI and leader of the opposition.

Why President Rouhani Does Not Have the Power to Bring Change to Iran

When President Hassan Rouhani started his first term in office as the President of Iran, many from the West viewed this as a positive step for the people of Iran. He was considered a moderate and it was expected that things would change for the better in Iran. However, looking back on his first term, none of this materialised.

During his first term, Rouhani presided over more than three thousand executions. He ordered many crackdowns on the people of Iran. He boasted of deceiving world powers during the nuclear deal negotiations. President Rouhani let extremism and terrorism continue without challenge.

Iran's Attempts at Playing Terrorism Victim Are Derisible

Alejo Vidal-Quadras, an atomic and nuclear physics professor, former vice-president of the European Parliament (1999 to 2014) and current president of the International Committee in Search of Justice (ISJ), has warned that the West needs to be careful not to fall victim to the Iranian regime’s propaganda that makes it look like an ally in the war against terrorism.

The country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) recently announced that it had fired several missiles into the eastern area of Syria in an alleged attempt to help Bashar al Assad’s fight against the terrorists.

Who is Hassan Rouhani?
